Two Basic Parts of a Low Cost Web Site Promotion

Monday, August 18th, 2008

Anybody could own a web site. Anybody could up sell their own products and services to their target audience. Anyone could try to promote their web site with a low cost. But there are not many web sites that have a truly successful web site with traffic all day through. What these individuals or companies lack is the most essential factor of success – a low cost web site promotion that really works.

If you have been trying to promote your own web site and you have received traffic every hour, my hands are down for you. But for those people who need assistance, who does not have the patience to promote their own product and services, and lacks knowledge to properly advertise themselves, here are some guidelines to help you achieve success with a low cost web site promotion.

Search Engine Submission and Ranking are the two basic parts to a low cost web site promotion. Both of the parts have the same effect on the market of the web site – for your products and services presented in your web site catches the people’s attention.

The first inexpensive method of web site promotion is the search engine submission. This first part is the act filing information and submitting your web site to search engines. There are two types of Search engine submission – manual and automatic. For a low cost and effective web site promotion, automatic submission is ideal because after filling up the information, a software program would forward this information to other search engines.

The second money-saving web site promotion is ranking.  This refers to the numerical position in which your web site appears on a search engine, based upon the web site’s criteria. Some search engines rank the order in which your search results appear primarily by how many other web sites link to each page. The leading web sites on this order would eventually fulfill a low cost web site promotion.

Other types of inexpensive web site promotion you could use to boost up traffic on your web site are banner advertising, classified ads, text links and section sponsorship. Banner advertisements pop up above and below web pages, and sometimes in another window. Text links and section sponsorship may cost more, but these methods helps in promoting to your specified target audience. It wouldn’t harm your web site to try these methods.

Always remember that the effects of your not so costly web site promotion hits are increasing significantly each day.  Don’t waste time; find an effective and affordable web site promotion of your choice today.

Professional Website Builder Services

Wednesday, June 4th, 2008

Every Internet Marketer or webmaster is looking for a relatively low price when they are in need for professional website builder services. When it comes to ideas, having them put into practice means finding a website builder that will not waste your time, will perform a professional job, and will keep your spending low.

Are there any advantages when using a website builder?

Building websites in a few minutes is one of the great things a website builder can do for you. If you worry about the content, you will be glad to find out that you can also take care of that for low fees. All you need is articles; you can write them yourself or buy some PLR articles, either way they will be the content of your website.

The whole method is simple: it uses a website template that contains all the text files from a specific folder. Very fast and easy, you will spend more time customizing it. It’s up to you if you just want something simple or if you opt for something complicated and eye catching. You will be able to use the same template for all your websites, when you have found the desired one.

Explaining the method: why you need a website builder.

Let’s see what I want to point out when I say “putting it into practice fast”. Take a well known new topic like gas fees. The first thing you need to do is to search PLR articles for the subject, it doesn’t matter if they are 10 or 25 articles. Let’s say you paid 10$ for them and you will use them as content for your website. Now, we add the price of the domain you will be using, leaving you with a website that costs around 17$. All we need more is traffic.

The website builder combined with the PLR articles will save a lot of your time helping you create websites in just a few minutes. The days when you had to spend precious hours to search for designs, content, etc. are over.

If you want something that will have the job done almost instantly, so that your great ideas will come to life, just check out the professional website builder. It’s fast, cheap, and you can choose it to work for you.

Working For Donations?

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

I think not!! I have worked by a friend of mine for the last year on his site: Jesus People Forever. I think we have finally come up with a decent product, and now it is up to him to sell himself.

Well, he shows his Pastor this site, and now the Pastor wants one done. He has an existing site, which is very unprofessional and actually deters people from clicking on anything on the site. So, he tells my buddy he wants one from me and wants to do it on a “donation” basis. Huh??

I think he means he wants me to put in the work, the time, and the effort, and allow him to “donate” some money to me.

Once again, I think not!!

Now don’t get me wrong, I donate right now. My company, WSBM LLC, currently donates on a monthly basis to Joyce Meyer Ministries and to St. Judes. So, I really don’t want to hear about how this is a “church” thing, and I should place this potential donation in the hands of God. This is a business. Let me ask this.

I wonder if the Pastor is getting paid on donations right now. I’ll tel you what. If the Pastor is getting paid by donations, I’ll do this work for a donation. How is that? But since I know he is getting paid (and well I might add), then he has the quote.

He can choose to call his payment whatever he wants to call it. I just know how much the donation better be if he wants the job done right.

5 Ways to Make Your Website Sticky

Monday, April 28th, 2008

A lot of successful websites depend on returning visitors to account for a major part of their traffic. Returning visitors are easier to convert into paying customers because the more often they return to a site, the more trust they have in that site. The credibility issue just melts away. Hence, keep your visitors coming back to your site with the following methods:

1) Nothing like a forum to keep them chatting

I am not sure what it is about forums, but they become addicting. People want to see what is being said, so they keep coming back to check it out. What a great way to have returning visitors to your website.

2) Start a web log (blog)

Keep an online journal, or more commonly known as a blog, on your site and keep it updated with latest news about yourself. Human beings are curious creatures and they will keep their eyes glued to the monitor if you post fresh news frequently. You will also build up your credibility as you are proving to them that there is also a real life person behind the website.

3) Polls are great for return visitors

Polls and surveys are other forms of interaction that you should definitely consider adding to your site. They provide a quick way for visitors to voice their opinions and to get involved in your website. Be sure to publish polls or surveys that are strongly relevant to the target market of your website to keep them interested to find out about the results.

4) Oh How I Love Games

People at work love to mess around and goof off. And since most IT departments don’t monitor the internet, people at work will find quick simple games they can play when they need a break.

5) Update frequently with fresh content

If you can keep your site updated as often as possible, people will keep coming back to see what is happening. They really do not want to miss out on anything. This is why it is extremely important for you to keep your blogs and forums updated. Just by doing one of the above items is a great way to get people coming back to your site.

Should I Create a Website? Do I Need One?

Saturday, April 12th, 2008

People always want to follow the latest thing, be it in fashion, sports, that kind of thing. Websites have become a necessity to almost everyone. Companies, businesses, individuals, even young adults have created personal websites with their respective purposes, be it for profit, or for entertainment.

What one must consider, however, before creating a website, are the factors in which must be put to thought before doing so, such as the cost, maintenance, use, web host and so forth.

Firstly, associating with the cost, we must always try to find an affordable host, not spending too much, nor too little. A cheap host does not exactly symbolize a credible reliability rating, but we must always look for value for money deals. Also, regarding the efficiency and server/web host reliability, there are many cases of web hosts not providing the service they had assured other people, some had even shut down and were nowhere to be seen. Keep this note in mind, as if you would like a long-lasting website, this would be the first thing to look for.

Next, would hiring a professional be affordable? Is it the best option? For simple websites, we could always pick up the coding, or even use programs, as it is relatively simple. However, when it comes to more complex coding, and when you want it to do a tad more than just providing information, hiring help in doing so would be the best way. Not only in terms of design, but security is also a key factor in assuring a quality website. If the website also acts as a portal for businesses, security would definitely be the issue here.

So, having considered the things to do before building a website, do we actually NEED one? If creating one would boost sales or promote positive implications to oneself, then by all means, go ahead and do what’s best. Yet again, planning is the key to success, in everything we do.
